US-based lessor GECAS has tentatively committed to order 75 Boeing 737 Maxs and 25 more 737-800s.
The airframer will now work with GECAS on finalising the details of the agreement to firm the order.
The GECAS commitment comes only a day after Boeing signed an order for up to 100 Boeing 737 Max aircraft with another lessor, Air Lease.
