Cambridge-based Marshall Executive Aviation (MEA) will take over the management of a Bombardier Challenger 300, adding to its fleet of Cessna Citation Bravo and Citation XLS aircraft.
The aircraft will be based at Luton airport and MEA will manage and charter the aircraft on the company's air operator's certificate.
The Challenger, which is configured to seat up to nine passengers, will "significantly broaden the company's capability to provide customers with spacious and comfortable aircraft suited to the widest range of business and private travel requirements," says MEA.
Its chief pilot Pete Stroud adds: "This is a significant milestone for MEA as we build upon our experience of aircraft owning and operating, and move into aircraft management. The Challenger is a superb aircraft which will also enable us to fly our passengers to a wider range of destinations, and it supports our position in the charter industry as we are poised to take advantage of improving economic conditions."
