Permali Gloucester has supplied lightweight ballistic protection panels for the UK Royal Air Force's AgustaWestland Merlin HC3 transport helicopters under an urgent operational requirement deal.
Made in collaboration with the airframe manufacturer, the work was conducted ahead of the RAF's deployment of the Merlin to Afghanistan earlier this year.

Permali Gloucester has also previously provided armoured protection for the service's fleet of Boeing CH-47 Chinook transport helicopters.
