The US Air Force has awarded Raytheon a $191 million contract for a multi-spectral targeting system for the General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper unmanned air vehicle.
"Based on a state-of-art digital architecture, this advanced electro-optical/infrared system provides long-range surveillance, target acquisition tracking, range-finding and laser designation for the Hellfire missile and all tri-service and NATO laser-guided munitions.
Under the deal, Raytheon will deliver 149 MTS-B systems from January 2013.
