Sierra Nevada (SNC) has selected Parker Aerospace's (H4/A18) thermal management solutions for its helicopter autonomous landing system (HALS) programme. "Parker is supplying us with the thermal management systems that will provide cooling and heating for our critical HALS electronics," says SNC HALS programme manager Bob Lombard, "The systems we will be supplying the army will be installed in extremely harsh environments with high levels of vibration, sand, dust and heat," he adds.
