Virginia-based Dynamic Aviation has made its international debut at the Farnborough air show, as it seeks to reach out to new customers outside the USA.
The company, which has a fleet of more than 150 aircraft, offers services such as modified aircraft for special missions in the defence, disaster response and agricultural fields among others.
It also provides airborne data acquisition and fire management services.
Most recently, Dynamic was involved in the oil spill clean-up in the Gulf of Mexico. It dispatched eight Beechcraft King Air 90s to the site. Six of these were observation aircraft, while the remaining two were oil spill response sprayers.
The company is now hoping to win customers from abroad. "Now is the time to target a broader audience and to let them know what we do," says Dynamic's chief executive Michael Stoltzfus.
Most of the aircraft in Dynamic's fleet are King Air 90s, which it believes serve as an ideal platform for special missions needs.
Forty of the aircraft are still in storage, and Stoltzfus believes the ready stock will appeal to customers with a need for modified aircraft at short notice.
Dynamic also plans to start jet charter services in the fall, with Boeing MD-80 series aircraft, says Stoltzfus.
