Bombardier has named Gary Martin as vice-president of sales, marketing and customer service programmes in a newly created position.
Martin is leading a team responsible for aftermarket sales, marketing and communication activities for commercial and business aircraft. His new responsibilities also include spearheading development of new and enhanced cost-per-hour programmes.
The airframer plans to invest more than $200 million to strengthen its worldwide network this year.
Martin has held positions at Eastern Airlines, American and America West. Before joining Bombardier, he was with Honeywell where held senior leadership positions in operations and customer and product support.
