It's appropriate that the Ferrari should be here at Le Bourget, as against the odds, Schumacher won Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix after Frenchman Olivier Panis crashed his Prost Mugen-Honda, breaking his legs.

The race was stopped - and the result declared official - when Schumacher was in the lead during the pit-stop sequence!

Much of the technology and many of the products used in Formula 1 are common to the aerospace industry.

Steve Dudley, Shell Oils' aviation market sector manager, says: "We've had a lot of exhibitors coming to the stand and showing us which part on the car their company produced. But Shell is also involved more directly with the aviation world as sole suppliers of lubricants to the BA Concorde fleet."
