Russia's Rosoboronexport agency has indicated its willingness to provide Brazil with an interim capability of 12 Su-27SK fighters and two Su-27UB trainers if Sukhoi's Su-35 wins Brazil's F-X BR competition late this month. The newly built aircraft are in storage in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Rosoboronexport and Sukhoi in late February confirmed plans to also establish a $240 million logistics and maintenance centre in Brazil.
