RUSSIAN AIRCRAFT builder Myasischev is trying to complete assembly of a final M-55 high-altitude aircraft, in part to replace the aircraft which was lost at Zhukovsky, near Moscow, in June 1995. The aircraft pictured is in the final stages of assembly, although company officials admit that funding shortages are hampering its work.
