Finland’s newly formed Patricomp is expanding its activities following the purchase of Patria Aerostructures’ sheet metal parts manufacturing and related surface treatment businesses. “Pekka Kaariainen, managing director of Patricomp, has years of experience in sheet metal and contract manufacturing enterprises and is now expanding his companies’ operations and becomes an important partner in subcontracting for Patria,” the company says. Patria’s aerostructures business unit designs and delivers advanced composite structures for the Airbus A320, A380, A400M and NH Industries NH90 aircraft.
