Finnair has awarded a contract to the ABS partnership of Sparks, Nevada, to supply hushkits for its 12 McDonnell Douglas DC-9-51s, as part of a $30 million programme to update the aircraft. Work is scheduled to start in September and will be performed by the carrier, with each shipset taking about a week to fit.
