Goodrich Aerospace has been awarded the fuel quantity indicating system and fuel management software contract from Boeing for the 7E7. The award is the first 7E7 contract won by Goodrich, which supplies similar systems to the current Boeing production models, with the exception of the 777. To be developed by the Vergennes, Vermont-based Fuel and Utility System division, the system will be the first of its kind to be adapted to work within an open architecture systems environment.
