The first 10 of 40 Chengdu F-7PG fighters on order was delivered last month, according to a Pakistan government official. TheF-7PG has been developed for Pakistan using Western avionics in place of Chinese equipment in other F-7s. It is believed that Chengdu has built 80
F-7PGs, now stored at the factory awaiting Pakistan's choice of radar. The Fiar Grifo-7 has been selected and is now in licence production in Pakistan.
