General Electric has delivered the first shipset of three CT7-8E engines to AgustaWestland. Selected to power the US101 version of the company's EH101 on offer for the US presidential VXX helicopter contest, the CT7-8E produces 20% more power than the CT7-6 which powers the EH101 and features full-authority digital engine control.
