Australian general aviation manufacturer Gippsland Aeronautics has delivered the first two GA8 Airvans to European customers. The deliveries follow certification of the piston-twin utility aircraft by the European Aviation Safety Agency last year. One aircraft has been delivered to UK skydive operator, The Boogie Club. The second aircraft is the first Airvan to enter commercial passenger and freight service, being operated by Emden, Germany-based Ostfriesiche Luft Transport on services to Germany’s Friesian islands.
