TNT Express has introduced the first of two Boeing 737-300 freighters it is leasing from GE Capital Aviation Services for its European network. Based at TNT's hub in Liège, Belgium, the aircraft is being operated on night-time flights to Vitoria and Madrid in Spain, via Nantes in France. The two aircraft, each with a payload of 16,500kg (36,350lb), are ex-Continental Airlines and were converted to freighters by Pemco Aviation Group. They have been leased for two years with an option to extend the arrangement for a further three years.
