Cyprus Airways took delivery last week, during a ceremony at the Airbus production plant in Hamburg, Germany, of one of two International Aero Engines V2500-powered Airbus A319s that it has on order. The second aircraft will be delivered next month, and the two 126-seaters will be operated on the airline's European and Middle Eastern network, alongside A320s. The carrier will replace its A310 widebody fleet with A330-200s leased from International Lease Finance by the end of this year.
