Russian company Kruz has assembled and flown the first Rotorway Exec 162F kit helicopter produced for the Russian market. Kruz, based in Sofrina, north of Moscow, has set up a factory to assemble the two-seat, light piston-engined kit helicopters, which are produced by Arizona, USA-based Rotorway International. Kruz is operating the first example on tourist and executive flights. It has a maximum take-off weight of 680kg (1,500lb) and a maximum speed of 130kt (240km/h).
