Boeing plans five Delta IV launches next year, including the first from the Space Launch Complex 6 at Vandenberg AFB, California. The next Delta IV will carry a US Air Force Defence Satellite Communications System spacecraft - DSCS A3 - from Cape Canaveral next month as the first contracted US Air Force Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) mission. This follows the company's first EELV-funded Delta IV launch from complex 37 at Cape Canaveral on 20 November on a commercial mission, placing Eutelsat's W5 communications satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit 37 minutes later.
