Asian SALES - Singapore Aircraft Leasing Entreprise (SALE) has acquired a new Boeing 777-200 under a sale and leaseback deal with Korean Air. SALE has also delivered the first of two 737-300s to Singapore's SilkAir under a similar arrangement. The second aircraft is scheduled for delivery in April. Fortis mandate - Fortis Aviation is offering several aircraft for sale after securing a mandate from Malaysia Airlines. These include Boeing 747-400s and a 747-300. Two of the 747-400s have a CF6 combi-configuration. Bridge finance – Garuda Indonesia finally took delivery of its last six Boeing 737s late in December after the manufacturer came up with bridge financing. The three -300s and three -500s were the last awaiting delivery from a 1996 firm order that originally included 17 737s. Six were later placed with other companies when it became apparent that the carrier could no longer afford to take them.
