More MD-11Fs
The Boeing MD-11 has won a stay of execution with a follow-up order for six freighters from Lufthansa Cargo for delivery starting in 2000. The German airline has also firmed up options for six additional Airbus A321s.
Iberia boosts AirbusSpanish flag carrier Iberia is to acquire another 11 Airbus A340-300s, including six firm orders and five options, for delivery starting in November 1999.
Estonian expansion Estonian Air has taken delivery of a third Boeing 737-500 to open services to Oslo and Frankfurt. The 737 is being leased from part-owner Maersk Air.
Go-ahead fleetBritish Airways' low-cost airline Go is adding eight aircraft over the next 15 months. Six will be leased new from Gecas.
