Lessor Avolon has placed five Airbus A320neos with Filipino low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air.
The lessor states that all the aircraft will be delivered during the second half of 2019.
“These aircraft will help open new route possibilities for Cebu Pacific, affording them the ability to carry more passengers and further expand their customer base,” says Avolon’s head of Asia Pacific Simon Hanson.
The lessor did not disclose an engine selection, but Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the carrier has selected Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines for the 32 A321neos it has on order.
Cebu Pacific already leases three A330-300s from Avolon, which form part of its fleet of 49 aircraft.
