IAG’s long-haul budget airline Level is to receive its additional pair of Airbus A330-200s in 2019.
Airbus had previously disclosed that IAG had ordered the two twinjets on 21 June.
It has confirmed, during the Farnborough air show, that the aircraft are destined for Level, taking the carrier’s fleet to seven of the type.
IAG had previously indicated, in May, that it had approved the acquisition of the additional pair of aircraft for the budget arm.
Level operates the 314-seat A330s from Barcelona, where it shortly plans to station a third aircraft. Another is deployed at Paris Orly, and will be joined by a second.
