US lessor Aviation Capital Group has ordered 20 Boeing 737 Max 8s.
The deal, disclosed by Boeing at the Farnborough air show, has a list-price value of $2.34 billion and raises ACG's direct-buy Max order quantity to 100, says the airframer.
"The 737 Max is core to our strategic growth plans, as the airplane continues to command strong interest in the marketplace," states ACG chief executive Khanh Tran.
"This order expands our diverse portfolio, which includes three 737 Max variants, providing us with more flexibility and some of the most advanced single-aisle jets to serve our customers."
Flight Fleets Analyzer lists ACG as the manager of three Max 8s in service with Aerolineas Argentinas. The lessor had another 47 on order before today's deal, along with 10 Max 9s and 20 Max 10s.
