Airbus has revealed a new purchase agreement for eight A350-900s, attributed to an undisclosed customer.
The airframer has not given any further information about the nature of the deal for the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-powered twinjets.
Nor has it indicated the delivery schedule or even the region from which the agreement has originated.
Under current list prices the deal would be worth just over $2.5 billion.
Airbus says it has secured 882 firm orders for A350-family aircraft from 46 customers.
