Portuguese operator Azores Airlines has taken delivery of its first long-range Airbus A321LR, one of three destined for the carrier's fleet.
The aircraft (CS-TSH) is powered by CFM International Leap-1A engines.
It is being leased from US specialist Air Lease and is configured with 190 seats in two classes, including 16 seats in the business cabin.
The A321LR was the longest-range version of the re-engined jet before Airbus unveiled its new A321XLR variant which will become available from 2023.
Azores Airlines is already an operator of the basic A321neo, with two of the type in service.
