Chinese carrier Loong Air has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo.
The twinjet was handed over to the Hangzhou-based operator at Airbus’s final assembly line in Tianjiin and represents the first CFM International Leap-1A-powered A320neo in China, says the engine manufacturer.
CFM notes that Loong Air has ordered nine A320neos.
Flight Fleets Analyzer shows the airline has 28 CFM56-powered A320ceos and three Boeing 737-300SF freighters in service today, and a letter of intent for 20 Bombardier CS100s.
The CSeries is exclusively powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G geared turbofans.
