Russian specialist operator Meridian has introduced an Airbus A320 to its fleet, and has secured approval to conduct services with the type.
Meridian offers charter flights with a fleet including executive jets and a Tupolev Tu-134 in a premium configuration.
But the company states that federal air transport regulator Rosaviatsia granted clearance on 8 August to operate the A320.
The aircraft is a 2008 airframe with a VIP interior, it says, featuring a layout to accommodate 52 passengers.
Meridian says it will be stationed at Ekaterinburg’s Koltsovo airport and used for activities including the transport of sports teams.
