Tigerair Taiwan will introduce A320neos into its fleet, after it placed an order for seven jets, with plans to lease eight more.
The low-cost carrier states in a stock exchange disclosure that the seven-aircraft order is worth around $730 million.
The transaction price for the lease is valued around $250 million, subject to cost escalation adjustments, the airline adds.
Tigerair Taiwan, which is wholly owned by China Airlines, did not indicate when the new aircraft would enter the fleet.
Cirium’s Fleets Analyzer shows the airline currently operates 11 A320ceos.
