Simulator leasing company Flight Training Finance has ordered an Embraer 190 full-flight simulator from CAE, to be delivered in 2008 and used to provide training for Panama's Copa Airlines.

Miami-based FTF ordered an E-170/190 simulator from the Canadian manufacturer last year for Panama City-based Copa, but now says that machine will be leased to Embraer and is destined for other customers. FTF is also acquiring a used CAE-built Embraer ERJ-145 full-flight simulator, which the manufacturer will upgrade and deliver later this year to Aeromexico's training centre in Mexico City, to provide training for Aerolitoral. CAE has also sold two full-flight simulators, a Level 6 flight-training device and Simfinity training equipment for the Boeing 757, to an undisclosed customer.
