Fordair, the UK-based flight department of car manufacturer Ford, has appointed airline subcontractor and charter company Flightline to operate a twice-daily shuttle service for employees from Southend to its factories in Bonn and Cologne in Germany. Flightline began operations on 5 June operating a BAe 146, although Fordair is planning to acquire a BAE Systems Avro RJ85.
