FlightSafety International is finalising plans for the opening of its full-service learning centre at Farnborough.

The first training systems will be installed in the next few months with training commencing in the first quarter of 2005.

Farnborough was selected as FlightSafety's second European centre as it provides an attractive and convenient venue for business aircraft users around the world. The centre will house 14 flight simulators and will be expanded over the next three years to 91,200ft2 (8,500m2).

The centre will also feature Sim Vu interactive pilot briefing rooms and study areas.

In the USA FlightSafety is offering a Gulfstream G550 flight simulator at its Savannah learning centre.
