Flightspares is celebrating the signing of a contract to become a worldwide aftermarket distributor of Morse Controls aviation products for civil operators.
This latest signing on Tuesday in Hall 1/D22 was the third new international contract in the last year for the UK firm and comes hard on the heels of an announcement that Flightspares is to handle international distribution for the HR Smith Group.
Doug Taylor, sales and marketing director of Morse Controls (pictured right), says: "We have been very impressed with Flightspares' efficiency as a global distributor. Their track record of business success speaks for itself and we believe they will give aircraft operators the best possible service."
Says Barry Cornett, managing director of Flightspares: "The group to benefit the most from this deal today will be the customers."
Stocking
Flightspares is committed to stocking at least $620,000 (£400,000) worth of Morse products, guaranteeing a level of after-sales services.
The deal is thought to be worth $7.6 million (£5 million) worth of new business over the next few years.
