Flir Systems (Hall 2, B17A) arrives at Farnborough celebrating orders worth $7.4 million for its infrared imaging cameras. Announced on the eve of the airshow, the deals mean that Flir's systems will be used in Northrop Grumman's Litening targeting pod deployed on US Air Force B-52 aircraft and certain Air National Guard Lockheed Martin F-16s. Shipments under the new orders are already under way and will continue into early 2005.
