Enterprise Florida has brought 13 companies to Asian Aerospace, showcasing various products from bomb fuses to an airdrop submersible vehicle.
The enterprising collection from the USA’s Sunshine State are at stand D223, presenting a broad range of technology and business opportunities.
Director of aviation marketing Ken Cooksey says: “We have got a real mix of high-technology companies. The Asian market is very important to our exports, so we always have a presence here.”
This year, Underwater Projects Group, six students from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, is presenting the Trident MK1, a submersible vehicle designed to be airdrop capable from 1,000ft (300m).
Jonathan Hung says: “We are here to showcase our underwater craft concept. Hopefully we will find assistance or a joint venture partner to take the project forward.”
