Flybe will add three new winter routes from East Midlands airport in order to fill the void left by BMIbaby.
The airline will launch daily services to Amsterdam Schiphol airport, twice daily flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, and thrice weekly flights to Jersey airport.
The Amsterdam service will be increased to a twice daily service next summer, Flybe says.
Its new routes will initially be served by Bombardier Q400 turboprops, though the airline plans to relocate two larger Embraer 175s to East Midlands airport next summer.
BMIbaby is due to be grounded in September, after IAG chief executive Willie Walsh said he is "not confident" of finding a buyer for the lossmaking carrier.
IAG purchased BMI along with its subsidiaries BMIbaby and BMI Regional from Lufthansa in April.
