Middle Eastern low-cost carrier FlyDubai is planning to add two destinations to its Russian operation, plus it will increase the freuquency on existing routes.

Six months after the launch of flights to Ekaterinburg and Samara, the airline is expanding further in Russia.

"We're doing an intensive market research and will select further two cities in the nearest future," says FlyDubai chief executive Ghaith Al Ghaith.

"Besides, we'll add frequencies on routes to Ekaterinburg and Samara shortly as they have proved appealing both for business and leisure travellers."

Al Ghaith says FlyDubai is also considering launching flights to some European countries with a detailed route evaluation underway.
