THE OPERATIONAL environment at Avalon will allow most of those who wish to fly in to do so. Those who cannot make the arrival times provided will still be able to use Avalon East light-aircraft field. Procedures and times are published in notices to airmen. For the 24h enthusiast, the camping area has been moved on to the airfield itself. For the last show it accommodated over 4,000 people on the Saturday night, many of them having flown themselves in.
