MARITIME ENFORCER MK2

The future of the Fokker military range has been thrown into question because the company has been forced into administrative receivership. A variety of special-missions aircraft based on the Fokker 50 turboprop have been developed. The Maritime Enforcer Mk.2 made its first flight in December 1992. Five aircraft are now in service with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, which also operates four Fokker 50 Utility aircraft.

Two maritime versions of the PW125B-powered Fokker 50 were offered, superseding F27 Maritime models. The Maritime Mk2 is an unarmed version for coastal surveillance and SAR, while the Maritime Enforcer Mk2 (maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft) has provision for external stores to enable anti-submarine and anti-ship missions to be flown. Both variants are fitted with Texas Instruments APS-134 360 -scan search radars.

FOKKER 60

Fokker has also successfully offered the Dutch air force a stretched troopship version of the Fokker 50, dubbed the Fokker 60, four of which have been delivered.
