After a Frontier Airlines Boeing 737 violated restricted airspace over Washington DC on 1 April, having failed to turn left after taking off from National Airport, the US Federal Aviation Administration has revealed that three other commercial flights have violated White House airspace since 11 September. The same Frontier crew, earlier that day, was forced to land at Washington Dulles after failing to give the password for permission to fly into National. The FAA says 35 other inbound aircraft have been diverted to Dulles after failing to follow security procedures.
