Denver-based low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines will launch service to five additional destinations from Cincinnati in October.
The carrier will launch flights to Dallas-Fort Worth, Las Vegas and Orlando International on 26 October, followed by Fort Lauderdale and Phoenix Sky Harbor on 28 October. The new markets will lead to Frontier serving 10 destinations from Cincinnati.
Frontier will operate daily to Dallas-Fort Worth and three to four times weekly on the other routes.

Frontier will operate the flights with Airbus A319 aircraft.
“Frontier was the first low cost carrier to begin service at CVG in May 2013 with one daily flight to Denver. Within 18 months of beginning service from CVG, Frontier will offer 41 flights per week to 10 destinations. By adding service to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Frontier will increase their flights at CVG by 106%," says the airport's chief executive Candace McGraw.
The carrier will also serve Denver, Washington Dulles, Trenton, Cancun and Punta Cana from Cincinnati. The Cancun and Punta Cana flights are operated for Apple Vacations.
Frontier is the second low-cost carrier in recent months to announce new service from Cincinnati. Allegiant Air said in July it will begin service to Fort Lauderdale from 9 October, and to Phoenix Mesa from 12 November, and subsequently announced service to Las Vegas to start on 18 December.
Frontier will be the only airline operating to Phoenix Sky Harbor from Cincinnati, schedules in Innovata show. It will compete against American Airlines and Delta Air Lines on Cincinnati-Dallas-Worth, against Delta and Allegiant on the flights to Fort Lauderdale, against Delta and Allegiant on Las Vegas, and against Delta on Orlando International.
Allegiant currently also offers service from Cincinnati to Orlando Sanford.
