Fyfe is new Air New Zealand chief

Air New Zealand has named Rob Fyfe as its new chief executive. Fyfe, currently group general manager airlines at Air New Zealand, was widely tipped as the lead candidate to replace Ralph Norris who is now heading up Australia’s Commonwealth Bank. Fyfe has been with the airline since 2003, joining as chief information officer after management positions with New Zealand banks, the UK’s ITV Digital and service in the Royal New Zealand Air Force
