Engine leasing specialist GA Telesis has signed a three-year materials agreement with GE Aviation for General Electric CF6-80C2 replacement engine parts.
The full service material agreement will provide parts for GA Telesis’ engine repair and overhaul facility in Helsinki, GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES). The MRO has capacity to perform up to 200 overhauls of CF6-80C2 and CFM56-5B and -5C engines per year.
"We are pleased to finalise this agreement with GE; our strategy from the beginning has been OEM-centric and this relationship complements our overall GATES material strategy," says GATES president Basil Papayoti.
