Spain’s Gamesa has agreed to enter exclusive negotiations to sell its aerospace unit Gamesa Aeronautica to Spanish bank Caja de Ahorros de Castilla La Mancha, which has teamed up with former Gamesa chief executive Inaki Lopez Gandasegui in a joint bid. Gamesa’s Bilbao-based aerospace unit develops and manufactures aircraft sections, parts and components. Gamesa values the aerospace unit at around g60 million ($72 million).
