Garuda Indonesia has resumed services to Fukuoka in Japan with three Airbus A330-300 flights a week departing from Denpasar, Bali. Services to Fukuoka were suspended in 1998. Garuda has also added services to Timika in Papua, formerly Irian Jaya, in eastern Indonesia.
