Garuda Indonesia has signed a five-year agreement with MTU Maintenance for the overhaul of General Electric CF34-8C5 engines that power its Bombardier CRJ1000s.
The deal covers 30 to 40 shop visits and services also include the provision of lease engines, MTU says in a statement.
The overhauls will be conducted at MTU's Berlin-Brandenburg facility.
Flightglobal's Fleets Analyzer shows that Garuda operates a fleet of 145 aircraft, including 18 CRJ1000s.
