Garuda Indonesia and Indian carrier Jet Airways have sealed a codesharing agreement.

Under the deal, Jet says it will place its code on Garuda-operated services between Singapore and Jakarta, while Indonesia’s flag carrier will place its code on Jet-operated services from Singapore to Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi.

In addition, the two airlines have launched a reciprocal frequent flyer programme. This will allow mileage accrual and redemption on Garuda’s domestic network and on Jet’s domestic and international networks.

Flightglobal’s FlightMaps Analytics shows that there are no carriers flying between India and Indonesia.
