David Wang has been appointed national executive in Malaysia for US engine manufacturer General Electric, of Fairfield, Connecticut. He succeeds Stephen Brandon, who is leaving the company. Wang, who joined GE in 1980 and will now be based in Kuala Lumpur, was founding president of GE Hangwei Medical Systems in China.
