GECAS has signed a sale and leaseback deal with Gol-parent VRG Linhas Aéreas for four Boeing 737-800s.
The Brazilian carrier took delivery of the first aircraft under the deal today with the second aircraft due later this year, one in 2016 and one in 2017, says the lessor in a statement.
The first aircraft is likely registered PR-GXY and MSN 40738 that was scheduled for delivery in May, the Ascend Fleets database shows.
GECAS and Gol previously signed a sale and leaseback for four 737s in 2012, with the aircraft delivered from that year through 2014.
